If the developers have kept on track with a new game, it would make sense to release it early to make the most of the fanbase, then possibly drop a massive update when Dominion releases next year.

While Evolution was released to coincide with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it makes sense that all parties want to start cashing in on the Dominion hype. While the various DLCs and updates have teased this is the end of the road for Evolution, it's entirely possible Frontier Developments is working on something new. The game has grown in popularity since its original release, and was even ported over to the Nintendo Switch as the Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition in November 2020. Launched in 2018, Jurassic World Evolution was effectively Zoo Tycoon for dinosaurs. The sister account simply replied with a series of side-eye emojis - suggesting something is going on behind the scenes. While that wouldn't normally be enough to go off, it was followed by a reply from the Jurassic World Evolution game account. What's interesting is the fact it looks like it's made with video game graphics. We can't tell if it's a T-Rex or a Velociraptor, but either way, it isn't good news for the human race.
